Center for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (CARRD), in partnership with Barako Bull, Department of Agrarian Reform, and Landbank of the Philippines, organized its first benefit run, Land and Food Run, for smallholder farmers on June 2, 2013 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. The Land and Food Run was also sponsored by the Federation of Free Workers, Federation of Peoples' Sustainable Development Cooperative, Gatorade, Kabalikat Civicom, Inc. Quezon City Central Chapter, Magnolia Healthy Beverages, Philippine Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas - Luzon (PhilDHRRA Luzon), Signum Event, and Social Security System (SSS).
